Shelter island vs the rest of the world

Each year since 2012, a group of dedicated players and volunteers from the Shelter Island Cricket Club (SICC) build a pitch in the Island Boatyard on Shelter Island, New York for a friendly test and fundraising event. Through spirited play—and patient explanation of the rules to newcomers—the day is a showcase for a game not exactly seen everywhere. The SICC donates all money raised to the Shelter Island Ambulance Foundation.
